Nick Kyrgios – July 2005 to Feb 2012 (from age 10-16) and November 2014 to June 2015 (age 19-20)

Winner 2 x 12/u Nationals

Semi-finalist 2 x 14/u Nationals

Runner-up 16/u nationals

Represented Australia in JDC (16/u) and WJT (14/u)

Reached career high junior ITF world ranking of Number 7. 

Left the ACT National Academy to be part of the AIS tennis program in his 17th year as World No.1 (World No.7 on ITF rankings) in the 2005 birth year

Quarter-finalist Australian Open 2015

Runner-up Estoril Open ATP 250, his first ATP tour final. 

Defeated Roger Federer for the first time in the Madrid masters

3rd round French Open

Halved his ranking from 48 to 24 (career high at the time).

Annerly Poulos – Jan 2013 to May 2018 (age 10-15)

Winner 2 x 12/u nationals 

Runner-up 4 x 14/u nationals

Winner 16/u nationals (in 14th birth year)

Ranked No.1 in 2003 birth year this entire period

Represented Australia World Junior Teams. The team won the Australasia zone. Was the No.1 player and won 9/9 matches.

Represented Australia Junior Fed Cup. The team won the Australasia zone. Was the No.2 player and won 8/9 matches.

Left the ACT Academy at World No.6 in 2003 birth year (on ITF rankings).

Alex Nancarrow – Jan 2006 to Jan 2011 (age 13 to 17)

Winner 14/u nationals singles and doubles.

Represented Australia at the Junior Fed Cup and World Junior Teams events.


Post the ACT National Academy:

Reached a career high WTA ranking 385 singles and 350 doubles.

Kaitlin Staines – August 2015 to December 2017 (age 15-17)

Reached career high ITF junior ranking 92 during this period

Reached the final of singles and doubles at 5 straight ITF junior events

Reached the No.1 ranking in Australia in 2000 birth year (AR rankings)

Represented Australia at the Junior Fed Cup

Gained a WTA singles and doubles ranking at age 16

Post National Academy:

Currently at University of Tennessee Div 1 College – reached a high of No.7 in NCAA doubles rankings.

Finished the 2019 NCAA season as the highest ranked Australian female in the NCAA rankings.

Winner 16/u singles claycourt nationals

Runner-up multiple 14/u national singles titles

Represented Australia at the Junior Davis Cup

Won ITF junior singles and doubles titles

Reached a career high ATP singles ranking of 606 and doubles 461
