The past 18.5 years have seen just 8 Australian developed players break into the top 100 including Molik, Pratt, Stosur, Dokic, Barty, Dellacqua, Sharma and Birrell (Both Tomljanovic and Gavrilova emigrated to Australia during late teens or early twenties ). And since 2004 just 4 Australian developed female players have cracked the top 100 (Stosur, Barty, Dellacqua and Sharma)
